Air Conditioner Repair St Catharines Homes Depend On
A St Catharines air conditioner repair visit starts at the thermostat and the indoor unit, then moves outside to the condenser. We test the capacitor and contactor, check the blower motor and fan, measure refrigerant pressures, inspect the coil for leaks, and clear the condensate drain. Cottonwood, grass clippings and lake wind debris off Lake Ontario clog outdoor coils quickly, so a cleaning is often part of the fix.
Older homes near Downtown and the North End sometimes pair a small central system or a ductless head with undersized ductwork, which shows up as long run times in July and August humidity. We explain what failed, what it takes to correct it, and whether a repair or a replacement makes more sense for the age of the equipment before any parts go in.
